Vintage Navajo Native American Sterling Silver Persian Turquoise Ring GORGEOUS

This listing is for an earlier mid century Navajo ring made of sterling silver and Persian Turquoise. If youre looking for a vintage handcrafted ring, with a stunning turquoise stone, then look no further! This piece is breathtakingly beautiful. A gorgeous Persian stone rests in a hand etched scalloped bezel, slightly protruding up and out. The eye catching stone has amazing color qualities of vivid blues and greens along with heavy dark matrixes. Several colors make up the thick patches of matrix from dark brown too burnt orangish tan.... The stone alone is a showstopper. Two round droplets sit on each side of the ring, where the double shank meets the back of the ring face. The flattened droplets each have domed centers and stampings circling around, creating lovely sunburst appliqués.

The single shank band is sturdy and in perfect round shape as it splits into before reaching the back of the face. Its a solid band with no give. While it is very apparent that the ring is a much earlier piece, the stone looks to be newer. I dont know for sure, but it would be my guess that the original stone was replaced with the Persian stone.

There is no signature or stamp of any kind on the ring but the metal tests positive for Sterling and it is most definitely 100% Navajo handcrafted. A very well made piece and taken care of over the years. This ring is waiting to be cherished and enjoyed for now....

Face Of Ring Measures - 1-5/16 long by 1/2 wide, and sits on top of the finger at 1/4 high. Band Measures - 1/8 wide at back center and gradually widens too 5/16 wide where each side meets the face.
