Vintage 1960's Navajo Turquoise, Shell Heishi & Red Coral Jacla 3-Strand Necklace We are offering this gorgeous Vintage (1960s) 3-Strand Turquoise, Shell heishi bead, and Oxblood Coral bead necklace featuring a Double Jacla with Hand Rolled Turquoise and Shell Beads. This necklace also features a traditional wrapped backing. Jaclas were originally worn as earrings by Southwestern tribes. The practice of hanging them on a necklace when they were not being worn as earrings led to a new style of jacla necklaces.
