MASSIVE Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Multi Stone Inlay Ring 33 Grams
This listing is for a HUGE vintage handcrafted Navajo ring made of sterling silver, turquoise, and mother of pearl. This highly sought after Navajo designed ring is in excellent vintage condition.
It features an amazing face filled with huge flush inlays of turquoise and mother of pearl, separated by wafer thin silver channels. The shape of the face is long and square, with the inlays continuing over on each side of the ring ending in a curved design.All of the stones are in excellent vintage condition with no cracks or inclusions. The turquoise is a deep blue green color with heavy spiderwebbed matrixes of shiny pyrite, while the mother of pearl is creamy white with its classic iridescent sheen. All of the inlays sit in a raised bed of silver over the thick band making this piece even larger and heavier at 34 grams!
The band is made from heavy gauge sterling silver and the band is in perfect round shape. This ring is waiting to be cherished and enjoyed for now.... And of course handed down to loved ones in the future. A lovely addition to any collection of fine Native American jewelry..... Or the perfect piece to start one! Face of ring measures - 1-5/16 tall by 5/8 wide (this measurement only includes the front rectangular inlay portion). Two side inlay sections measure - 1-1/4 tall by 5/8 wide. Raised bed of silver that inlays rest in measures - 3/16 thick. Two largest center Inlay stones measure - 5/8 long by 3/8 wide. Band measures - 1/4 wide at bottom center, and gradually widens too 1 wide on each side where the inlays start. Signed by Artist - NO. Stamped Sterling - NO tested and verified. Mid-Century, early 1960s - late 1970s.Condition - Preowned, in excellent vintage condition with original stone inlays and naturally aged patina, ready to wear or display.
