This listing features an incredible handcrafted Navajo ring made of sterling silver, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, Mediterranean Coral, and a faux bear claw. Expertly handcrafted by a Navajo Artist during the later mid century, this highly detailed ring is sure to be a treasured piece in any collection of fine Native American jewelry. A large faux bear claw is the showpiece of this ring. The claw rests over a thick bed of silver with silver capped ends.
The wide silver cap covering the top of the claw features a hand stamped scalloped edge along with a natural coral stone resting on top in a saw tooth bezel. The coral is in excellent shape portraying a bright red color with natural pores and veining. Tightly bunched silver droplets accompany the stone on each side while the raised bezel is surrounded by a smooth silver rod.
A long twisted rope follows the curvature of the claw down to its tip where an arrow shaped silver cap covers it. A Sleeping Beauty stone sits just inside the curve of the claw.
The stone is highly polished with a deep sky blue hue and rests securely in its sawtooth bezel. Coiled silver rods along with silver droplets, and a highly detailed leaf appliqué surround the turquoise stone finishing the ring face design. The detail doesnt stop at the face.... The band is just as beautiful with amazing silver works of ropes, flattened droplets, and curling rods. Truly fantastic and a showstopper of a piece! This intricately designed piece will make a fantastic addition to any collection of fine Native American jewelry. Cherish and enjoy this gorgeous ring for now..... And hand it down to your loved ones in the future so they may have the pleasure you once did. Weight - 23.5 Grams. Face of ring measures - 1-7/8 tall by 1-1/8 wide.
