This vintage 1930's era Navajo Indian belt buckle measures approximately 3-9/16" (9 cm) by 2-13/16" (7.1 cm). Will fit a 1-1/4 (3.2 cm) belt. Signed on back GENE HAMBY. This may be the maker or the original owner. Like most older Native American jewelry, this piece is not stamped or hallmarked for silver content. It is sterling or a slightly lower grade of silver.
