FABULOUS 1950's OLD PAWN VINTAGE NAVAJO SILVER & TURQUOISE CONCHO BELT
This listing is for a lovely vintage 1950's "Old Pawn" Silver and Turquoise Concho Belt. Leather measures 3/4" wide and 40 1/2" long. The belt features 11 oval concha measuring 2" wide and 1 1/2" long and 12 butterfly concha measuring 1 3/8" long and 3/4" wide. The buckle measures 2" long and 1 5/8" wide. The concha, butterflies and buckle are all hand hammered silver with a scalloped shape and have a turquoise stone in the center of the each concha and on the buckle.
Each concha is attached to the leather with copper slides. The silver concha are unmarked as to maker but are guaranateed to be of sterling quality.
The belt is in excellent condition with no noted damages. I have collected vintage turquoise and silver items since my first visit in the early 1980's to the Old Town Market in Albuquerque.
