Big Vintage Navajo Peyote Water Bird Sterling Silver Turquoise Coral Watch Tips
On offer is an authentic vintage pair of NAVAJO. 925 Sterling Silver PEYOTE BIRD WATCH TIPS adorned with southwest sky blue turquoise and red coral mosaic chip inlay stones. These watch tips tested positive for STERLING. These classic PEYOTE BIRD WATCH TIPS are not hallmarked, which was common in Native American silver works prior to the late 1970's. We believe this fine pair was created circa 1970. The excellent craftsmanship and style of these watch tips is characteristic of pieces created by the renowned late TOMMY SINGER. These PEYOTE BIRD WATCH TIPS were expertly crafted with attention to detail in the NAVAJO/SINGER tradition and are in very good vintage condition (see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The turquoise and coral mosaic chip inlay stones are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. They are firmly set in the silver on a textured oxidized (blackened) ground framed with silver rope. Overall, these Navajo PEYOTE BIRD WATCH TIPS measure approx. 1 5/8" long (1 3/4" along the curve) x 1 1/4" tapering to 1" wide. The opening for a band is 5/8 - the tube is approx.
